The Golden Pavilion

Well luckly the weather was good today so I mannaged to visit it finally...
the Golden pavilion ( Kinkakukji ) the most famous site in Kyoto


If you recognize it before, I used this temple in the blog header as a sign of my presence in japan


The original Kinkaku-ji was built in 1397, the top two stories of the pavilion are covered with pure gold leaf.
and the fall season adds to the beauty...

when i looked at the first photo, i thought the building was much taller than the one in your header, then i realized that the lower part was only a reflection in water
